Regional Sales Representative vacancy

Description of Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Sales with an existing customer base of 75+, in Mpumalanga & Limpopo, servicing the mining and Industrial sector.

Key Performance Areas - Key Work

  • Specification and sales of HT Products.
  • Identifying key target markets & customers.
  • Customer visits, shows & exhibitions with wholesalers & end users.
  • Customer liaison would include quotations, proposals, training, planning & performance analysis against set objectives of HT and customer.
  • Weekly and Monthly progress reporting.

  • Above Average computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc…)
  • Excellent Communication Skills. (Verbal and Written)
  • Self-motivated and have excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Customer Service Orientated Mindset and adaptability is essential.
  • Multi-tasking, Time management and Problem-solving skills are essential.
  • A “Team Player” and willing to Learn and Improve.
  • High standard level of accuracy is required when working according to procedures.
  • Intrapreneurial skills, mindset and sound business acumen is essential.

Additional Job Related Requirements

  • Must be prepared to travel extensively and work extra hours if required
  • Must be willing and available to attend after-hour customer functions and company events and meetings.

Suggested Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • Matric with at least 5 years’ experience in electrical sales industry
  • Electrical / Electronic Trade Certificate OR N6 Electrical / Electronic Qualifications would be an advantage.
