Human Resources Internship
Description of Position
The primary purpose of this internship programme is to offer students with meaningful and practical work experience in the field of Human Resources Management, allowing them to an opportunity to gain skills, explore career paths, build professional networks, and enhance their future employability.
Key Performance Areas – Key Work
General Human Resources Functions:
• Perform all administrative duties within the department.
• Form part of the department’s cross-functional team on all Employee Engagement initiatives and other ad-hoc projects.
• Support recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Learn about labour law compliance, employee relations, and skills development management.
Required Competencies
• Computer Literacy - Proficient in MS office.
• Language proficiency (reading and writing) in English.
• Communication skills (listening, speaking and writing).
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.
• High level of confidentiality and Flexibility/adaptability.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
• N6 certificate in Human Resources Management / Labour Relations Management
• NQF Level 6 National Diploma in Human Resources Management / Labour Relations Management
• Unemployed graduates who have not participated in an internship programme previously.
